There are two cottages. The main cottage has a breathtaking view of mountain, sea and sky. It has the master bedroom, sitting area, kitchen and laundry facilities.

It also has a study area in front a large window overlooking the harbour -- perfect for composing a contemplative email or something more substantial.

There is also a guest cottage with two bedrooms, bathrooms and dry sauna built with fragrant BC cedar. One bedroom has a double bed and the other has two single beds.

Both cottages are equipped with high speed internet.

The main cottage is available for $90 per night. Both cottages are available for $160 per night.

York Harbour is located on the south shore of the Bay of Islands in Western Newfoundland. it is approximately 90 minutes drive from Deer Lake airport (YDF) and 45 minutes drive from the regional centre, Corner Brook, which has many cultural offerings.

In York Harbour and the neighbouring community Lark Harobur, there are convenience stores, a beer/liquor store and two restaurants.

York Harbour is nestled under majestic Blomidon Mountain, which is part of the Appalachian Trail.

York Harbour and area has excellent hiking over several marked and well-maintained trails and is a destination for hikers.
