Lake St. Helen is located in Roscommon County. It is a man-made lake covering 2930 acres. The lake has crappie, bluegill, perch, largemouth/smallmouth bass, north pike and walleye. Fly-fishing could be done on the AuSable River. The headwaters of the southern division of the AuSable begin at Lake St. Helen. Red Pine Natural Area Path Trailhead is 8 miles North of St. Helen via F-97 and Sundown Roadway. There is a coastline much less compared to a quarter mile away. I-75 passes merely three miles southern of St. Helen, our year round trip land is known for it's snowmobiling with over 250 miles of tracks, searching for deer or bear or turkeys, foxes, bunnies, squirrel and partridge. All-natural spring lakes with 18 miles of shoreline provides excellent sport angling, jet snowboarding and water snowboarding.
The residence supports to a farm that has llama, alpaca, equines. and so on. Likewise it is affixed to Saint Helen's ATV/snowmobile tracks. Hunting is prime here! Fruit/nut trees; water.
You essentially simply leave the door and fifty feet or so and your on the trails and in the timbers!
